+ WHY IS YOUR GYM MORE EXPENSIVE THAN OTHER GYMS IN THE AREA?

We know you may have a lot of choices on where to workout. What’s best… A treadmill at home? The gym down the street that is $10/month? A CrossFit membership? A Prime membership?

We would actually encourage you to ask a different question. What are your goals? Personalized attention? Trained, professional coaches? Accountability? Working out with a group of like-minded people who cheer on your success? If the answer to any of the above is “yes”, then we encourage you to check us out.

+ WHAT WILL MY FIRST TIME AT PRIME LOOK LIKE?

Your first time in, we want you to feel comfortable. One of our awesome coaches will give you a tour of the facilities, sit down with you and walk through your goals. We will do a quick fitness assessment and walk through what you can expect moving forward.

+ DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS?

Other than married couples, we actually don't offer any discounts. We always want to be fair to all of our members across the board, and to offer some discounts and not others would be unfair. This also means that there would never be an instance where someone who signed up after you would get a lower membership rate.

+ HOW DO I SIGN UP?

You start with a free consultation. This consultation gives you the opportunity to meet with a coach and see what Prime is all about before you ever spend a penny! You can sign up for your consultation by clicking HERE!

+ HOW LONG ARE YOUR AGREEMENTS?

We prefer to take a long-term approach to fitness which is why we have 12-month agreements. We want to give our members the most sustainable, long-lasting results possible, and this can only be done through progressive training strategies over a longer period of time. We do offer 6-month and month-to-month options at a higher price point.

+ WHAT IS CROSSFIT?

To be a little nerdy, CrossFit is constantly varied, functional movements, performed at relatively high intensity. What this means is that we do a bunch of different workouts, made up of simple to complex body and free weight exercises, and we push ourselves as has as we want or can on any given day.

+ I’M NOT IN VERY GOOD SHAPE … YOU THINK I CAN DO CROSSFIT?

The very first thing you will discover is that CrossFit does not discriminate. Whether you are young at heart, have just completed your 50th marathon, are recovering from injury or healing a broken heart. Whether walking the dog is the only exercise you have had in years, or you are someone training for the World’s Greatest Race…We will help you achieve your fitness goals.

One of the things that makes CrossFit so unique is our community of people from literally every walk of life: stay-at-home parents, elite athletes, students, CEOs, members of the armed services, firefighters, you name it. CrossFit bodies – our bodies – come in every imaginable size, shape and age; and yet, our workouts every day are designed for anyone to do them.

Yes, anyone.

+ I HAVE HEARD CROSSFIT IS DANGEROUS, IS THAT TRUE?

To be clear, anything done incorrectly can be dangerous. By going through Prime Prep, you are learning the correct way to move and approach workouts. Once in classes you are under the watchful eye of a coach whose sole purpose is to push you outside your comfort zone while maintaining a safe environment. CrossFit done correctly is not dangerous.

+ WHAT IS THE PRIME PREP COURSE?

Prime Prep is an introductory course that will expose you to some of the movements we do, explain the why behind our program, and demystify nutrition. There are 4 sessions where you will meet one-on-one with a coach. These sessions will teach you all you need to know about doing CrossFit at Prime.

+ DO I NEED ANY SPECIAL CLOTHES OR SNEAKERS?

Nope. Clothes that you are comfortable moving in will work just fine. You will be getting up and down off the floor and moving quickly. Make sure they are clothes you are ok sweating in and in the nicer months we will work out outside if the weather permits. There are tons of CrossFit-specific clothes and shoes out there but you do not need any of that for now. However, if you are looking to upgrade the wardrobe in the future, we can certainly point you in the right direction.
